Poignantly hilarious

David Sedaris mines a wealth of entertaining and moving stories from his life as an author on tour and family member. His dry sense of humor and keen observations of human behavior make for insightful comedy. What prevents me from giving this a five star rating is that the acoustics were not great. We strained to hear his voice from the left orchestra section. And this type of theater is not for everyone as David basically reads from his books and notes. However, his insights are funny and often emotionally touching. It's a show that makes a liberal feel right at home...some conservatives might squirm.
